Job Description


Lifestyle Property Management is hiring experienced Community Association Managers for a portfolio of clients in the Asheville/Hendersonville areas. The Community Association Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of community associations consisting of condominium, single family and townhome associations. This position works directly with the Board of Directors of each Association to assist with the day-to-day management of the association and has interaction with homeowners, vendors, attorneys and construction companies. CMCA credentials are preferred, but not required. HOA EXPERIENCE IS A MUST. Excellent opportunity, with good pay and benefits, to join a growing company.


General Responsibilities Include:


· Acts as primary liaison with the Association's Board of Directors, committee members and residents

· Advise Board and residents regarding governance maters in compliance with their governing documents and state statutes

· Oversees the financial administration of the Association in accordance with the management agreement and the governing documents

· Assist Boards with the development of annual budgets and understanding of monthly financial reports

· Review monthly financial reports

· Attend Board meetings

· Assist Board with architectural review process

· Direct the enforcement of community rules and regulations

· Request proposals and bids from contractors, based on specifications presented and approved by the Board of Directors

· Manage work orders and capital projects

· Perform community inspections per the management agreement

· Provide proactive solutions to the problems or situations as needed

· Keep organized records and files

· Complete resale documents as needed

· Other duties, as appropriate

Other Requirements:


· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Effective organization and time management skills

· Knowledge of WORD and EXCEL

· Experience with QuickBooks is preferred

· Customer service driven

· Ability to work under pressure/even temperament

· Ability to speak in front of groups

· Independent worker/self-motivated

· Attention to detail and respect for confidentiality

· Required travel is about 25%, but is local
