Primary Teaching Assistant - Supply

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Primary Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across a range of welcoming primary schools in Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for adaptable and caring individuals who enjoy supporting children's learning and thrive in a variety of school settings.

The Role:

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils in the classroom on a whole‑class, small‑group or 1:1 basis
Assist the class teacher with lesson activities and classroom management
Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
Work across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 (depending on experience)

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience working with children of primary age (school‑based preferred)
Be flexible, reliable and confident adapting to different schools
Have a caring, patient and positive approach
Be able to work effectively as part of a team
Hold a relevant TA qualification (desirable, not essential)
