Shifts: Day Shift (07:45am - 20:00pm) / Night Shift (19:45pm - 08:00am)
Pay Rate: £19-£21p/h (PAYE)

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team on an agency basis, providing high-quality nursing care within a reputable care home in Hertfordshire. This role involves covering a mix of day and night shifts.

Due to limited public transport links, a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in a care home setting, your duties will include:

Delivering high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with individual care plans

Administering medications safely and accurately

Monitoring and evaluating residents' health and wellbeing

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records

Supporting care staff and leading shifts as required

Liaising with GPs, families, and external healthcare professionals

Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and care home policies

Promoting a caring, safe and person-centred environment for all residents

Requirements

Valid NMC PIN as a Registered General Nurse

Previous experience working as a nurse in a care home environment

Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A compassionate and professional approach to patient care
