Venatu Recruitment are proud to announce that an industry leading client of ours who are a major global business in the packaging sector turning over billions, are now looking for 2 Mechancial Engineers to join them as soon as possible! They're a global supplier of sustainable, recyclable, packaging for some of the famous brands around the world and are consistently in the pursuit of market-leading innovation, quality and customer service, all backed by investment in their people and processes!

Due to their consistent growth and expansion they're seeing, they're looking for 2 Mechanical Engineers to join them at their Doncaster site immediately! The role will ensure a continuous operation and development of process equipment within the Doncaster Print Facility and well skilled technician with a good attitudte to work and a willingness to learn and progress!

These are full time position paying £40k per year + 10% Pension and is a DAYS only role with the option to work either a 4 and a half day week or a 5 day week with those patterns hours consisting of:

4.5 day week - 7:30AM - 3:30PM  Monday to Thursday with a 12:30PM Midday finish Friday!
5 day week - 7:30AM - 3PM  Monday to Thursday with a 2:30PM finish Friday!
Job duties include:

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment to minimize downtime.
Diagnose mechanical failures, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
Develop and maintain maintenance schedules, procedures, and documentation in line with company and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, including permitting, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO), and equipment safety procedures
Support continuous improvement initiatives
The type of candidate they're looking for:

Educated to HNC Mechanical or equivalent.
Apprentice Trained ideally
Worked in F.M.C.G Companies/Enviroments!
Skileld in both planned and reactive maintenance.
Good at problem solving and be organised
Good attitude to work and willingness to learn!
