You'll be working on:
*
Smoke control systems - primarily AOVs (Automatic Opening Vents), as well as more complex pressurisation systems (both positive and negative)
*
Diagnosing faults and carrying out remedial works
*
Planned preventative maintenance and reactive callouts
*
Writing clear service and fault reports
*
Liaising with clients, site contacts, and internal service coordinators
*
Working both independently and occasionally as part of a small team
Who this would suit:
*
Someone with solid experience working on smoke ventilation systems (AOVs essential, pressurisation systems a strong bonus)
*
Confident with fault-finding, repairs, and small upgrades
*
Comfortable managing their own schedule and reporting
*
Excellent communication skills - both technical and customer-facing
Required:
*
Strong knowledge of AOVs, fans, dampers, control panels, and associated wiring
*
Experience with pressurisation systems - or a strong willingness to learn
*
Full UK driving licence
*
CSCS or equivalent safety certifications desirable
