Are you an experienced Finance Assistant/Administrator with excellent commercial acumen, eager to develop your career within a global consultancy firm?

We are recruiting on behalf of our superb client, a global real estate and infrastructure consultancy, for a Finance Administrator based within their Horsforth offices. Forming part of the wider Administration team of 7 your role will provide dedicated support to the Finance division, with HR and front of house assistance required on an ad hoc basis. This is a diverse role, providing exposure within a global organisation and ample opportunity to develop within their finance function.

This is a superb opportunity for an Administrator with 2+ year's finance experience, with excellent ability across generalist financial tasks such as invoicing and billing, financial reporting and systems usage, purchase orders, among other duties. We are looking for someone with excellent organisational ability and initiative, also with a flexible approach to their work to support across other administrative areas within the organisation.

Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Finance Administrator:


Month end billing and invoicing.
Preparation of quarterly Finance board packs.
Finance reporting via Microsoft Dynamics and Excel.
Supporting the Technical Team on Finance projects.Other:

Ad hoc HR support, e.g. letter preparation, mail mergers, preparing HR packs, analysis via Excel.
Arranging travel bookings and internal/external meetings.
Providing reception cover on an ad hoc basis including phone cover, meeting and greeting visitors, post, meeting room setup etc.Key Characteristics and Experience Required for the Finance Administrator:

2+ year's experience within a similar corporate Finance Support/Administration role essential.
Strong IT skills, including intermediate Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and any relevant Finance software (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, SAP).
Excellent organisational ability, managing own time and workload.
Strong initiative and willingness to learn.
Working strictly to financial deadlines.
