Location: Trafford Area + Hybrid working + Flexible Hours
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

Main duties:

Process and match vendor invoices to POs and goods received.
Resolve invoice discrepancies with Purchasing, Operations, and suppliers.
Prepare payment runs and ensure timely vendor payments.
Complete daily bank reconciliations and maintain aged creditors and direct debit reports.
Support month-end and reconcile vendor statements.
Ensure correct VAT and tax treatment on all invoices.
Maintain confidentiality and meet SLAs/KPIs.
Process EU and non-EU invoices, including reverse charge and self-invoicing.
Handle customs documents (DAU, MRN, release notes) and link them to invoices.
Apply correct VAT treatment for domestic, EU, and non-EU transactions
Understand customs duties and import tax requirements.
Person specification:

Italian language, speaking, reading and writing
Financial qualification is desirable such as AAT but not essential
At least 2 years' experience working in Accounts Payable in a Shared Service environment
Knowledge of the different Italian tax codes.
Good knowledge of excel, including reporting, lookups and pivot tables
Passion for process improvement
Full driving licence is required
