HSEQ Advisor

Location: Cirencester/ Cheltenham, Gloucestershire

Hours: Fulltime (37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday), Permanent - Hybrid

Salary: Competitive Salary

Our client is seeking a HSEQ Advisor to handle daily administrative tasks, provide practical support and be the first point of contract to the team regarding any HSEQ queries.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Provide day-to-day HSEQ advice across the entire business.

*

Monitor and manage the HSEQ inbox, signposting colleagues to appropriate documentation, policies, and contacts.

*

Support in the preparation, delivery, and documentation of internal audits, investigations, and compliance checks.

*

Additional support for the wider team to review asbestos reports, help with ARA's and advise on site concerns or constraints.

*

Data collation for accident and incident reporting and processing investigations.

*

Keep up to date with latest legislation, guidance and recommendations, ensuring this remains up to date in company documentation.

*

Contribute to the development and review of internal procedures and policies.

*

Assist with the delivery of internal training sessions and help identify future training needs.

*

Help ensure continued compliance with relevant legislation and ISO standards.

*

Assist with monthly site visits, ensuring Health & Safety arrangements are being adhered to at all levels of the team whilst out on-site visits.

Key Skills and Attributes:

*

Must hold a valid driving license

*

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C / 4 or above (Essential)

*

HSEQ qualification or working towards one (Desirable)

*

Experience in Health & Safety, Environmental, or Quality administration (Essential)

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

*

Strong organisational and time management skills

*

A proactive, solution-focused, and adaptable attitude

*

Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams); experience with internal systems or document management tools (Desirable)

*

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism

*

Willingness to travel to regional offices and project sites when required
