JR180: Commercial Vehicle Body Builder

Location: Holmewood, Chesterfield

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Per Year

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Commercial Vehicle Body Builder on behalf of one of our clients.

Our client encourages applications form ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the production of truck mounted bodywork including, flat, dropside and cheesewedge bodies.
You will fabricate parts and assemblies as required from drawings.
General assembly of bodywork.
Welding of metal work as required.
Use of cutting and bending machinery.
Good knowledge of safe working practices.
Skills and Qualifications:

Previous MIG welding and fabrication experience.
Previous commercial vehicle body building experience.
You should be able to work from drawings and written instructions.
Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
