Pay Rate: £24.42 per hour (inside IR35)

Contract Duration: 24 months

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Configuration Support Engineer to join a leading technical team in Desford, Leicestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development and configuration of current and new product options within the construction equipment sector. You will play a vital role in maintaining master engineering models and machine bills of materials while ensuring effective implementation of design changes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Configuration Support Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

Reviewing engineering change data to ensure compliance with established change management policies.
Coordinating product changes across product development, sales and marketing, supply chain, and manufacturing teams.
Preparing documentation to support new product configurations and ongoing development activities.
Supporting product groups through corporate engineering systems and process improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For?

Change Control: Strong understanding of change identification, evaluation, documentation, and implementation processes.
Engineering Systems Knowledge: Experience with Teamcenter for data management and Creo for 3D CAD modelling.
Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to completing tasks with precision.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse problems and propose effective alternative solutions.
Prioritisation Skills: Confident managing multiple concurrent tasks and making informed prioritisation decisions.
Teamwork and Communication: A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to feedback and learning.

Desirable Qualifications

Previous engineering experience within a mobile construction equipment manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with enterprise-level product development systems and lifecycle management processes.
