Recruit UK are working with a well-established financial planning firm that is looking to appoint a Paraplanner to join its collaborative and technically focused team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that places strong emphasis on high-quality advice, technical excellence, and client outcomes, offering a largely remote working model with just one day per month in the office. The role sits within a dedicated paraplanning function, supporting advisers across the full advice process, from research through to report writing and implementation.

The Role

You will play a key role in supporting advisers and clients by delivering high-quality suitability reports, technical analysis, and product research. Working closely with advisers, you will be involved in the full lifecycle of advice, ensuring recommendations are accurate, compliant, and aligned to client objectives.

Key Responsibilities


• Liaise with advisers to understand client objectives and identify information gaps


• Conduct financial analysis and research to support recommendations


• Prepare high-quality suitability reports in line with internal standards


• Source and analyse product information and comparisons


• Support asset allocation and investment strategy discussions


• Ensure all compliance documentation and internal processes are adhered to


• Submit and manage new business and implementation paperwork


• Maintain accurate records on back-office systems


• Provide ongoing servicing support including withdrawals and fund switches

Candidate Profile


• Level 4 Diploma qualified (minimum) – Chartered desirable


• Strong understanding of the financial planning process


• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively


• Excellent report writing and communication skills


• Strong IT and systems capability


• Positive, proactive attitude with a “can do” approach

Salary & Benefits
