This is a hands‑on, fast‑paced role working across various departments on site. You'll play a key part in supporting the recycling operation and ensuring materials are processed safely and efficiently.
Previous experience in a similar working environment would be advantageous...
Roles and responsibilities:
- Working on the sorting belt to separate recyclable materials
- Carrying out general cleaning duties, including cleaning down machinery and work areas
- Assisting with the basic maintenance and upkeep of machinery (e.g., clearing blockages, reporting faults)
- Supporting different departments as required depending on workload
- Following all health & safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
- Ensuring materials are handled and processed correctly
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production targets
What We're Looking For:- Someone health & safety conscious with good awareness of site rules
- A reliable team player with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable with manual handling and working on your feet
- Ability to work in a fast‑moving environment
- Previous recycling or warehouse experience is helpful but not essential
Shifts / pay rates :
- Monday to Friday: £13.17 per hour
- Saturday: £19.75 per hour
- Sunday: £26.34 per hour
