Café Manager

We are seeking a Café Manager to lead the daily operations of our café within a dynamic agricultural retail environment. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for hospitality, excellent service, and team leadership. As Café Manager, you will ensure high standards of customer service, food quality, and team performance, making every customer's visit a delightful experience.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead and motivate the café team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and control waste to maintain efficiency.
- Develop and implement new menu ideas and seasonal offerings to enhance customer experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café and related areas.
- Schedule staff shifts and manage rotas to meet business needs effectively.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction.
- Monitor financial performance and work towards achieving sales targets.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of café staff to build a strong team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and evenings as required.
- Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset.
- Desirable: Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and First Aid training.
- Experience in catering, hospitality, or barista roles is preferred.
