Are you a freelance Quantity Surveyor looking to work Outside IR35? Do you have experience working on Groundwork, RC Frames and Civil Engineering packages? If so, then this opportunity is the one for you!

This a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who is looking to join a thriving groundwork and frames contractor working on a variety of packages on major civil engineering projects.

The contractor is looking for competent and independent QS to assistant the Senior QS on a variety of jobs across the UK. The projects/packages are valued up to £20m and include RC Frames, Culverts, Excavation and Concrete works.

The successful candidate will be based out of Ealing but must be willing to travel to to different sites across England.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Prepare and analyse project costing for tenders, such as materials, quantities, labour and time.
Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the client.
Negotiate contracts and work schedules.
Allocate work to subcontractors and oversee their work at all stages.
Undertake cost analysis, performance risk, value management and cost control.
Monthly reporting including CVR's. Requirements:

Must be able to travel to various sites across England
Have a minimum of 5 years working as a Quantity Surveyor
Experience working on RC Frame, Groundwork or major Civil Engineering projects
Experience working with NEC forms of contracts
Have a degree or a equivalent higher qualification (HND or HNC) in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
