We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join our esteemed grammar school in the Medway area. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-achieving environment where academic excellence is the standard.
Day-to-day of the role: - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative Science lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.
- Foster a stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and in-depth understanding of scientific concepts.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress and adapt teaching methods to suit varying abilities and interests.
- Implement and maintain classroom discipline and uphold school standards and policies.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to plan and coordinate science projects and experiments.
- Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the school's community and ethos.
- Stay updated with the latest scientific advancements and integrate new learning tools and resources into lessons.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching Science at a secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge in one or more Science disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
