You’ll work alongside a Chef Assistant, preparing balanced meals that meet the nutritional needs of young children, with a strong focus on allergens and dietary requirements.

What you’ll need

• Proven experience as a Chef, ideally within a nursery or similar setting
• Strong knowledge of child nutrition and allergen management
• Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (or equivalent)
• Ability to work independently and manage a kitchen

What you’ll do

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals for children in line with dietary guidelines
• Plan menus that meet nutritional standards and accommodate allergies
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety
• Manage stock, ordering, and food storage effectively
• Work closely with the Chef Assistant to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Keep accurate records in line with compliance and regulatory requirements
