Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to safe working practices and ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures and policies.
• Rapidly address electrical and mechanical breakdowns to minimise downtime and ensure machinery is process-capable.
• Collaborate with operators to maintain equipment within specification and complete necessary documentation.
• Perform ancillary activities such as welding, grinding, cutting and wiring to build or repair machinery and facilities.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and legislative compliance checks, keeping accurate records.
• Requisition necessary supplies and work with Production Operators to enhance processes.
• Undertake additional projects as and when assigned.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Electronically biased preferred, however multi-skilled engineers will be considered.
• Proficiency in pneumatics and PLCs.
• Extensive experience in equipment maintenance, including facilities.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing setting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of process support equipment.
• Robust IT skills.

Remuneration

You will receive a salary package of up to £49k (DOE).
