We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to cover a maternity leave at our vibrant school in Hillingdon, starting in September 2025. This is a full-time position, ideal for a passionate educator who is excited about making a difference in the early years of children's education.

About the Role:
As a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to a group of young learners. You will create a nurturing, engaging, and inspiring learning environment that supports children's social, emotional, and academic development. This is a maternity cover position, and you will be expected to manage all aspects of the classroom, including lesson planning, assessment, and working closely with parents and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality EYFS lessons that are engaging, interactive, and tailored to meet the needs of all children.

Plan, assess, and monitor student progress in line with the EYFS framework.

Foster an inclusive, caring, and positive classroom environment where children feel safe and confident.

Work closely with parents to provide regular updates on children's progress and development.

Collaborate with other EYFS teachers and staff to ensure a high standard of education across the school.

Maintain accurate records of student development and provide feedback to parents.

The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

*

Experience teaching in an EYFS setting, ideally within a Reception class.

A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and developmental milestones.

A nurturing, patient, and creative approach to teaching young children.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

The ability to create a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
