About the Mortgage Broker RoleThis is a Mortgage Broker role, working with warm inbound enquiries, remortgage opportunities, and referral business. If you enjoy selling protection too, you’ll thrive here - there’s a steady supply of high-quality protection leads ready to be picked up as well. Mortgage Broker Key Responsibilities

  • Advising clients on residential mortgage and protection products
  • Managing warm inbound leads and referrals - no cold calling
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients
  • Ensuring all advice is compliant and tailored to client needs
  • Cross-selling protection with a strong flow of leads
  • Keeping detailed and accurate records of interactions and recommendations

Mortgage Broker Package & Benefits

  • Basic salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)
  • Commission structure: 30% rising to 50% - earn significantly more on every deal
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • High volume of protection leads to enhance earnings
  • Strong administrative support - focus on advising, not paperwork
  • Hybrid working

Mortgage Broker Skills & Experience Required

  • CeMAP qualified with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in mortgage advising
  • CeRER qualified or willing to obtain (support provided)
  • A passion for protection - someone who enjoys selling and believes in its value
  • Proven experience handling residential cases from application to completion
  • Confident, proactive, and personable - you’ll be trusted with quality leads
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working to targets in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
