Workshop Fitter

Connect Appointments are working with a company experiencing a strong surge in demand who require a Workshop Fitter in Cumbernauld on a temporary-to-permanent basis!

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm

Pay rate: £14 per hour (£17 CIS)

Ideally, the successful Workshop Fitter will have experience of working in a tight-nit manufacturing environment and are happy to work within a variety of areas of the business. You are not required to be a skilled tradesman in all areas, but having a variety of skills will benefit your application.

Other beneficial skills, competencies and expertise:

• Mechanical trades experience (such as plumbing, electrical and joinery)
• Experience with circular sawing
• Mechanical and shop fitting
• Light gauge steel work
• Welding, fabrication and mechanical assembly
• Valid forklift and driving licence
• CSCS card
