Are you experienced in higher education and known for keeping busy academic calendars under control? Can you coordinate interviews, stakeholders, and events without missing a beat? Signature Recruitment is excited to be recruiting for a Programme Coordinator to join a London higher education organisation on an immediate start basis.

This is a full-time, temporary role for 4–6 weeks, paying £24.32 per hour, based in London with hybrid working. You will work two days in the office and three from home, though this may flex around programme activity. You will join a collaborative, academic-facing team that delivers professional development programmes, funding opportunities, and events for research-active clinicians and academics. The role offers excellent exposure to senior academic and clinical stakeholders while supporting initiatives that shape research careers.

This is a varied and hands-on role suited to someone organised, personable, and confident managing competing priorities. You will need to adapt quickly, communicate clearly, and feel comfortable working in a fast-paced, research-focused environment.

Programme Coordinator - Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate interviews for senior-level academic candidates, liaising with clinicians and researchers
  • Organise interview panels, schedule meetings, and manage candidate communications
  • Maintain accurate records using spreadsheets, trackers, and internal systems
  • Support programme delivery, including leadership training and academic development initiatives
  • Assist with marketing activity and manage feedback from programme participants
  • Work collaboratively in a small team and respond to changing priorities
Programme Coordinator - Key Skills:
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communication with senior academic and clinical stakeholders
  • Proficient in Excel and SharePoint for data tracking and reporting
  • Experience working within higher education or a research-focused environment
