About the role

Moxie People are partnering with a well‑respected housing provider to bring in an experienced Housing Officer on a 3‑month fixed‑term contract. You'll step straight into a tight patch of around 600 homes, focusing mainly on income recovery and tenancy management, with only a small amount of lettings work.

You'll be trusted to manage arrears end‑to‑end, support tenants to sustain their homes, and handle low‑level ASB such as noise and neighbour disputes. You'll also attend safeguarding meetings where required, prepare notices and legal bundles, and work closely with local partners.

MRI experience is handy but not essential - what matters most is your confidence, independence and ability to hit the ground running.

What's on offer

• £33,839 salary (rising to £35,024 in April)
• 3‑month FTC, starting ASAP
• Hybrid working - typically 2-3 days a week on patch, plus flexible admin days either at home or in the office
• 35 hours per week, with flexible start/finish times

• No weekend or out‑of‑hours work expected

About you

You'll thrive here if you're steady, resilient and comfortable managing your own workload from day one. You'll need:

• Strong experience in income recovery, tenancy management and generalist housing work
• A solid understanding of Renting Homes Wales
• Confidence handling low‑level ASB and safeguarding concerns
• A car and full driving licence
• Eligibility for a DBS check
