About the school:

Are you a nurturing and resilient Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? A warm and inclusive primary school in Trafford is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and help make a real difference in pupils' lives.

This full-time role involves working with children across Key Stages 1 and 2, many of whom have additional needs such as ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and communication difficulties.

🧩 About the role:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with EHCPs and additional needs
Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery, behaviour support, and tailored interventions
Promote emotional regulation, independence, and positive routines throughout the school day
Contribute to progress tracking and communicate regularly with the wider support team

What We're Looking For:

Experience supporting children with SEND (in a school or care setting)
A calm, compassionate, and proactive approach
Strong understanding of Autism and SEND
A relevant TA qualification

To be eligible you must:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references

This is a full-time position starting in September 2025 (or sooner for the right candidate).
