Our client is looking to recruit Waking Night Support Workers to work at their supported living provisions within the Manchester area.
They are looking for enthusiastic, resourceful and energetic individuals who are motivated, organized, able to use their own initiative as well as working as part of a team. Who have an holistic approach to provide support to young people with complexed, challenging and additional needs 16+
The main duties will be carried out working shifts allocated by the Service Manager or delegated person, which will include wake night shifts 10pm - 8am waking night support workers will be supported by suitably experienced staff.
Core tasks include record keeping in accordance with legislation and regulation, supervision and monitoring of service users, providing service users with direct support towards their independence by following the Independent Living Program (LIPS) At all times, the post holder is expected to conduct themselves professionally, to work within the current legislative framework and adhere to the Policies and Procedures.
The objectives are to successfully complete the Group's induction and to fulfil the project worker accountabilities to a standard complying with the National Minimum Standards for Placements North West and Children and Young People Leaving Care.
You will be expected to complete and enrolled onto a QCF level 4 working with children and young people course, you will also receive multiple training opportunities to not only further your knowledge and skills but to enable you to progress within the company as they believe all employees should be invested in to not only benefit themselves but also the young people.
