Transport Operations Administrator - 1 Year Experience Required - Middlewich - (Maternity Cover - Potential for Permanent Role)
Salary: £30,000-£34,000 (pro rata), depending on experience)

Silver Arrow require an experienced Transport Operations Administrator to work for transport company based in Middlewich.

- 20 days holiday + bank holidays ((pro rata), increasing by one day per year following the first full year of service to a maximum of 33 days plus bank holidays.
Your Role:
- Scheduling and Planning: Coordinating transport schedules and ensuring timely and cost-effective operations.
- Documentation: Preparing and verifying transport documentation, including load sheets, delivery notes and ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with transport regulations and standards.
- Creating customs import & export documentation
- Customer Service: Act as a point of contact for customer queries, providing updates on deliveries and resolving issues.
- Monitor real-time vehicle movements and update schedules as needed
- Maintain accurate records of transport activities, including delivery notes, PODs (Proof of Delivery), and driver logs
- Assisting with other administrative duties as required.
What we need from you:
- Previous experience working in a transport office
- Previous experience with European Import & Export
- Ability to manage workload in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Competence in IT, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge on transport regulations and logistics operations.
- Experience working with Import/Export and creating customs documents
