Conveyancing Assistant

Wirral- Hybrid

I’m currently supporting a respected and well-established law firm who are looking to add to their established conveyancing team. They are seeking to appoint a motivated Conveyancing Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to build a long-term career within residential property.

You’ll be joining a friendly and supportive team working alongside a Senior Conveyancer and a Conveyancer, and gaining hands-on experience across the full conveyancing process.

About the Role;

You’ll provide essential administrative and case-management support to more senior fee earners.

The firm will candidates with a minimum of 6 months experience working within a conveyancing department up to more senor assistants.

Key Responsibilities;

• Opening new matters and updating internal file lists
• Retrieving Land Registry documents
• Preparing contract packs for sale matters
• Requesting redemption statements
• Ordering searches for purchase transactions
• Applying for Land Registry searches
• Preparing files for completion, including Accounts Completion Packs
• Dealing with pre-contract enquiries on sale files
• Coordinating exchange of contracts
• Reviewing Source of Funds documentation and Stamp Duty Forms
• Reviewing and reporting on search results and mortgage offers
• Managing pre-completion mortgage conditions
• Preparing contract documentation for client signatures
• Drafting completion statements for both sales and purchases
• Conducting title checks (under supervision) on purchase files
• Reviewing replies to enquiries
• Progressing both sale and purchase matters from start to finish
• Preparing files for final sign-off by the Conveyancer or Senior Conveyancer
