This is a solid opportunity for someone with purchase ledger experience who wants to get stuck into a broad, hands-on finance role with exposure to month-end, cash flow, and audit support. The Role You’ll be supporting the finance team across day-to-day operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and deadlines are met.Key responsibilities include:Purchase Ledger

• Process invoices accurately and on time
• Resolve supplier queries and maintain query logs
• Reconcile supplier statements monthly

Banking & Cash Flow

• Post daily bank transactions
• Assist with daily cash flow reporting
• Investigate and reduce unallocated cash

Month-End Support

• Assist in preparing management accounts
• Post journals, accruals, and prepayments

Audit & Compliance

• Maintain accurate financial records and audit trails
• Support year-end audit processes
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies

Process Improvement

• Help identify and implement improvements across finance processes
• Maintain and update documentation

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 year’s purchase ledger or accounts experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Business Central or similar ERP systems (desirable)
• Exposure to Power BI (nice to have, not essential)
