Academics is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate 1-to-1 SEN Learning Support Practitioners to join our team on a full-time basis. Successful candidates will provide personalised support to pupils with complex needs including ASD, ADHD, and behavioural challenges, helping to facilitate their learning and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver one-on-one support to pupils with complex needs during their educational activities.

Develop and implement individualised learning plans tailored to each pupil's specific requirements.

Promote a supportive and inclusive learning environment that builds confidence and independence.

Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure consistent, effective care and learning.

Monitor pupil progress and adapt support strategies to overcome any challenges or barriers.

Requirements:

Proven experience working with children with complex needs, ideally within an educational setting.

Strong understanding of a range of special educational needs and effective support strategies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.

Relevant qualifications in education or special education are desirable but not essential.
