Healthcare Assistant - GP Surgery - Bradford

Salary: £13.00 per hour (negotiable depending on experience and skills - up to £15/hour)

An established GP practice in Bradford is seeking a dedicated and proactive Healthcare Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a full-time position within a busy surgery of 8,600 patients. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting ECGs, blood pressures, phlebotomy (blood tests), urine testing, and NHS Health Checks

*

Supporting weekly care home visits (within walking distance)

*

Assisting with foot checks (training can be provided)

*

Working closely with the nursing and clinical team

*

Maintaining accurate clinical records using SystmOne

Requirements:

*

Previous experience in a GP surgery or primary care setting

*

Confident performing essential HCA duties

*

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

*

Familiarity with SystmOne is highly desirable
