Staff for Education are working in partnership with a lovely SEND School in Mansfield and we are currently recruiting for an SEND Teaching Assistant to work at this school on a full time, long term basis for the full academic year starting September 2025.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, your main responsibilities will include:
• Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEND.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, both in and out of the classroom.
• Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
• Support the classroom teacher in managing student behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
• Help students with personal care needs, if required.
• Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.

To be successful for the role, you will:
• Have a recognised Teaching Assistant Qualification/experience
• Have previous experience working within a school environment (SEND preferred)
• Have a passion for working with young people and enhancing their learning
