5 Axis CNC Machinist

Salary: £22.40 per hour
Location: Glasgow
Hours: Monday-Friday, Full-Time, 3 shift rotation 
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Permanent

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

Set up, program and operate CNC 4 and 5 axis milling machines to produce high end components
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production
Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of the machines
Inspect finished products to meet the required standards
Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes
Monitor machine performance and maintain quality  

Desirable Experience:

Proven experience in CNC machining, 4 or 5 axis essential
Working to high quality standards 
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S process is desirable
Matsuura or Fanuc controls would be an advantage
