Job Title: Painting & Decorating and Plastering Lecturer

Location: Isle of Wight

Contract: Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours, 52 weeks)

Salary: Up to £38,144 per annum (depending on qualifications & experience)

Overview

An FE College is seeking a Painting & Decorating and Plastering Lecturer to deliver high-quality vocational programmes from Level 1 through to Level 3. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced P&D and Plastering professional or someone looking to move into teaching and get off the tools, with full support available to gain teaching qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging teaching across a range of P&D and Plastering courses
• Assess, review and track learner progress
• Maintain accurate course and student records
• Embed employability and workplace skills into the curriculum
• Support learners to achieve and progress

Requirements

• NVQ 2 qualification with industry experience
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Passion for education and learner development
