Dedicated Geography Teacher Wanted in Richmond! Successful Department

Our ambitious school in Richmond is seeking a Dedicated Geography Teacher to join our successful and growing Geography department. We are keen to hear from teachers who are excellent practitioners and have a passion for exploring the world with their students. There may be opportunities for a TLR for candidates with the drive and potential to contribute to the development of the department.

Location: Richmond Role: Geography Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).

* Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of both physical and human geography.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Geography curriculum.

* Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Geography.

* TLR opportunities may include leading fieldwork, developing resources, or supporting extracurricular geography clubs.

Qualifications & Experience:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Degree in Geography or a related field.

* Proven experience teaching Geography at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).

* Strong geographical knowledge and a passion for current global issues and sustainability.

* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage students in Geography.

* Demonstrated leadership potential and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the Geography department (for TLR consideration).
