The Compliance Manager, will be responsible for:

Coordinating all work related to the Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) to ensure full compliance with statutory site rules and regulations.

*

Conducting Level 1 inspections and approving permits for contractors performing engineering work on site.

*

Acting as the focal point for contractor compliance with SSoW in accordance with policies.

*

Monitoring contractor activities to ensure works are carried out safely and in line with issued permits.

*

Reviewing Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and any supporting documentation prior to issuing Work Authorisations or Permits to Work.

*

Assisting with root cause analysis and contributing to accident/incident investigations.

*

Maintaining strong working relationships with the Site Construction, Safety, and Technical Teams.

To be successful for this Compliance Manager role you must have:

Proven experience as an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with knowledge of SSoWs, Risk Assessments, and Work Authorisations.

*

A background working in commercial environments, engaging with both internal teams and external contractors.

*

Ideally hold IOSH and NEBOSH certifications (training support can be provided if not currently held).

*

Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across safety, technical, and operational teams.

*

A proactive approach to ensuring safety compliance and operational excellence on-site.
