As the successful Payroll Specialist, you will:Act as a key person to participate in payroll system implementation, including staffology, together with other development projectsBringing bureau based payroll "in-houseEnd-to-end payroll, downloading the payroll data and checking to ensure all is correct.Address payroll queries promptly and professionally as per the payroll process and procedureHandle starters, leavers, absences, and monthly changesCalculate statutory payments and other adjustmentsPrepare payroll control reports and monthly management reports

Manage End of Year statutory returns for HMRCEnsure all salaries are processed in accordance with standard regulationsProcess all new starters, leavers, handling P45's, NI, TAXDeal with all areas of SSP, SMP, SPP and other statutory payments Stay updated on relevant regulations and implement necessary changes

You areAn experience "hands-on" payroller, with at least 4 year payroll backgroundA strong interest in systems implementationUseful but not essential previous Iris or Staffology payroll exposure, CIPP qualified
