We are hiring for a Registered Manager who is experienced in leading and managing residential care services for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in Nottingham. This is a hands-on leadership role within a well-established residential care setting, and you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and team performance.

Duties of a Registered Manager

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

Managing the daily operations of the residential service to ensure a safe, caring, and person-centred environment.

Leading, developing, and motivating a team of care professionals to deliver outstanding support.

Ensuring the service remains fully compliant with CQC regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.

Completing regular audits, quality checks, and risk assessments to maintain high service standards.

Managing budgets, rotas, recruitment, and staff performance including appraisals and supervisions.

Building and maintaining positive relationships with residents, families, and external agencies.

Promoting independence, dignity, and choice for all residents while supporting them to achieve personal goals.

Maintaining accurate records, care plans, and documentation in line with regulatory standards.

Skills and Experience of a Registered Manager

As a Registered Manager, you need to have experience with:

Managing a residential or nursing care setting for adults with learning disabilities or similar needs.

Strong knowledge of CQC standards, MCA (Mental Capacity Act), and DoLS (Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards).

Supervising and developing multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.

Handling HR processes including recruitment, absence management, and staff rotas.

It would be beneficial to the Registered Manager role if you also had:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards it).

A full UK driving licence and ability to commute easily.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
