Life Jacket Education Agency is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Leeds from January 1st. This is a full-time position running until the Easter break, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.

About the Role:
As the English Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will inspire a love of language and literature, support pupils of varying abilities, and contribute to the department's collaborative and positive culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons

Assess, track, and report on pupil progress

Create an inclusive and motivating learning environment

Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life

Maintain excellent classroom management and safeguarding standards

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Strong subject knowledge in English

Experience teaching in UK secondary schools

A proactive, positive, and committed approach

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
