Job Role: Paint Technician
Type: Temporary
Salary: £16.71- £18.65
Location: Corby
Hours: 6:00am - 4:00pm
We are working on behalf of our client to help fill this role.
About the role:
· Paint preparation of the vehicle - masking and prepping if required
· Spray painting required vehicles using water based paints
· Checking paint colour and preparing spray out cards to ensure a perfect match
· Cleaning up work area and making sure that equipment is working correctly
· Supporting bodyshop team within other departments if required
Skills and expertise:
· Previous experience in a similar role as a Bodyshop Technician / Paint Sprayer (essential)
· Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
· Willing to support junior techs and offer support/expertise when needed.
· You will be passionate to work within the motor industry and take pride in their work, to the highest standards of work set by customers
· You will need to work independently on vehicles and have experience to make decisions when required
· Excellent attention to detail
Candidate must have own paint gun and air vent mask.
