KS2 Teaching Assistant - Full-Time (Blackwood)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Blackwood, Caerphilly. This full-time role is set to start in October, running Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teaching and learning within a Key Stage 2 (KS2) classroom

• Assist pupils with academic progression, particularly in literacy and numeracy

• Work alongside the class teacher to provide high-quality support and tailored interventions

• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all pupils

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting

• A valid Enhanced DBS check

• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

• A patient, supportive, and proactive approach to working with children
