Customer Support Coordinator

Job Description

 Lighthouse Information Systems is seeking a full time Customer Support Coordinator with excellent organizational and communication skills. One to two years of customer service and office experience preferred. This position requires a confident individual with excellent communication and customer service skills. Day to day work involves a lot of time on the phone using current computer software programs and performing each task with meticulous attention to detail and high standards of accuracy and documentation.

Specific duties include:

  • Coordinate communications between staff, management, customers and vendors
  • Triage client requests and take effective action for resolution.
  • Perform Help Desk Management that includes opening/closing end-user trouble tickets.
  • Perform routine administrative tasks for the technical team
  • Coordinate scheduling with staff and customers
  • Assist in documentation of standards and methods

Required skills include:

  • High aptitude: This is a role unique to our industry and a fast learner is essential
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • High willingness to follow and to learn
  • A desire for absolute rigor in all routine tasks
  • Basic understanding of computer functionality and technical terminology
  • Have exceptional problem solving skills, with the ability to adapt and adjust behavior and action.
  • The perfect candidate would be highly motivated to learn and use this role as a chance to gain business insight for possible future opportunities.
