Accounts Assistant 3 Month FTC

SALARY: £17500 - £18000/annum

My Client is looking for an experienced accounts assistant to join their team on a FTC basis. If you are looking for a company that has a great foundation and well established in the area then click apply. If the full 3 months FTC is completed the client will give a bonus to the candidate
Job Purpose Statement
* Preparing statutory accounts
* Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries
* Working with company accountants
* Strong Communication skills
* Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers
* Prepare monthly reports within deadlines
* Send payment reminders to ensure timely payments
* Chase overdue payments
* Processing invoices weekly and monthly
* Raising Credits
* Credit control
* Calculate, process and pay all employees PAYE including expenses and commission
* Processing Payroll
* Manage all outgoing payments to suppliers
* Calculating and processing to ensure the temporary candidates are paid weekly via their timesheets
* Reconciling
* Processing and managing expenses
* Maintaining the database
* Answer telephone queries
* Attention to detail - repetitive tasks and remaining focus
* Liaise with outsource company for any payroll queries
* Carry out ad hoc duties as requested within the finance department
Experience and Knowledge Required
* Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant
* HR knowledge is desirable
* Strong communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Previous experience with Xero is desirable although not essential
