This is a really exceptional opportunity to join a highly successful organisation on this 13-month maternity cover contract. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting of a number of the European entities of the business and liaising with the European Financial Controller in respect of consolidating these areas.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Month-end journals and reporting for 3 units
- Verifying and entering invoices
- Payroll
- Expenses management
- Prepare and perform payment runs
- VAT and Intrastat
- Stock Analysis including Obsolescence
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
It is essential that you have exposure to working within a European organisation and preferably exposure to stock and inventory accounting. You should be highly IT literate including advanced Excel. Knowledge of a European language (French/German/Dutch) is an advantage. Given this is a maternity cover role you need to be available immediately or on very short notice.
