Probate Solicitor - NQ to 3 Years' PQE

A highly respected law firm with a national reputation in private client and charity law is seeking a Newly Qualified to 3 Years' PQE Probate Solicitor to join its renowned Private Client Department in Salisbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor with a keen interest in probate to work on high-value, complex matters in a collaborative and expert-led environment.
The Work You'll Be Doing
Working closely with experienced colleagues across the firm's probate, contentious trusts and private client teams, the successful candidate will:
- Administer large and complex taxable estates, including landed estates, farms, and estates with international elements
- Act on behalf of major national charities, often involving complex grant applications such as section 116 grants, grants de bonis non, and grants on behalf of trust corporations
- Advise on problematic or delayed estate administrations, including matters where executors are incapacitated or in dispute with co-executors
This is a role that offers both variety and challenge, with exposure to high-value work and interesting legal issues that will significantly deepen the post-holder's expertise in estate administration.

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will:
- Be newly qualified or have up to 3 years' PQE in private client/probate work
- Have experience or a strong interest in administering taxable and complex estates
- Be proactive, well organised, and confident handling sensitive client matters
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Be eager to develop technically within a high-calibre, supportive team
