About the Role

Are you a detail-driven Design Specialist with a passion for precision and innovation? We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading smart lighting solutions provider, seeking a talented individual to join their technical team in High Wycombe.

You’ll be responsible for designing and developing technical drawings for cutting-edge lighting systems, collaborating with engineering, design, and production teams to deliver high-quality 2D and 3D CAD models. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on impactful projects that blend technology, design, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret lighting layout drawings from contractors and clients.
• Create AutoCAD backdrops and export to graphical supervisor software.
• Populate databases with lighting icons and network trees for pre-commissioning.
• Produce and revise technical drawings and schematics to industry standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain organised documentation and provide project status updates.
• Support the Estimating team with quotations.
• Contribute to product innovation and stay current with industry trends.

What We’re Looking For

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino).
• Experience in lighting, electronics, or manufacturing sectors.
• Familiarity with smart lighting technologies and IoT integration.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management and adaptability.
