Our school is a welcoming and vibrant place to work, where every member of staff is valued and supported. We take great pride in our strong sense of community, well-behaved and respectful students, and a culture that prioritises both learning and well-being.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students in and out of the classroom—helping to remove barriers to learning, encouraging confidence, and working closely with teaching staff to ensure every young person has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a real impact—whether you’re an experienced TA, a recent graduate exploring a career in education, or someone returning to work who’s passionate about helping young people succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with additional needs

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, accessible lessons

  • Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive participation

  • Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development

  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and respectful school environment

  • Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and outside agencies

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience working with young people (school-based or other relevant settings)

  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for supporting students from all backgrounds

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent); Level 2/3 TA qualification is a bonus but not essential

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Why Join Us?
  • A friendly, supportive, and inclusive school community

  • Staff who genuinely care and support one another

  • Opportunities for training and career progression

  • A school where every day brings variety, purpose, and reward

  • Well-resourced classrooms and excellent pastoral care
