Reporting to the Financial Controller, but working closely with the Treasury team on a day-to-day basis, you will play a key role in managing the Group's FX exposure, supporting hedge accounting under IFRS 9, and delivering monthly management reporting.

Description

Our client is an established, globally diversified organisation operating across more than 30 countries is seeking a Treasury Accountant to join its Finance & Treasury function.

  • This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to expand their exposure to FX, hedge accounting, and international treasury operations within a large, decentralised group structure.
  • Reporting to the Financial Controller, but working closely with the Treasury team on a day-to-day basis, you will play a key role in managing the Group's FX exposure, supporting hedge accounting under IFRS 9, and delivering monthly management reporting.
  • The role also offers the opportunity to gain experience in debt capital markets, with the business issuing bonds on a regular cycle.

Profile

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting, FX, financial instruments and an interest in treasury.
  • Clear and confident communicator with the ability to present complex messages to c-suite.
  • Confident working with complex data and delivering accurate financial analysis.
  • Proactive, organised, and comfortable engaging with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience with hedge accounting or IFRS 9 is beneficial but not essential.
