Head of Financial Accounting

We're looking for a strategic, commercially astute, and results-driven Head of Financial Accounting to join their senior leadership team in a newly created role. This is a pivotal leadership role offering autonomy, influence, and the opportunity to shape the financial future of a trusted retail name.

What You'll Do

Lead and inspire the Financial Accounting team, ensuring high standards and delivery of key objectives
Oversee monthly financial reporting, statutory cashflow, and compliance with IAS 17 and IFRS 16
Own weekly cash flow forecasting and variance analysis
Drive budgeting and forecasting processes, identifying opportunities for improvement
Enhance financial systems and processes for greater efficiency and compliance
Ensure robust financial controls and manage audit processes
Support new business initiatives with accurate financial planning and integration
What You'll Bring

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with ~5 years post-qualified experience
Strong leadership and people management skills
Deep understanding of IFRS 16, IFRS, and UK GAAP
Advanced data analysis and financial interpretation skills
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and Board members
