About the Position:

In this role, you will join a thriving and inclusive academy in Thamesmead as a SENCO, playing a vital role in the leadership team. As a full-time, permanent position, you will be responsible for overseeing SEND provision across both primary and secondary phases, ensuring tailored support and positive outcomes for all students with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage SEND provision across the academy, ensuring a high standard of support and inclusive practises for all students with additional needs.
Play a crucial role in strategic planning and EHCP management, working closely with families and external agencies.
Provide support and guidance to colleagues, promoting best practises for SEND provision in the school.
Requirements:

Hold the NASENCO qualification.
Proven track record of leading SEND provision in a school setting.
Passionate about enhancing provision for students with special educational needs.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
