Our client, a leading clean energy company, is seeking a commercially driven Head of Sales to shape and execute its sales strategy. This pivotal leadership role offers the opportunity to drive commercial success from the ground up.

Role Overview:

In this dynamic position, you will build and lead a high-performing sales team, establish commercial frameworks, and spearhead market entry across regions. This role is both strategic and hands-on, ideal for professionals with experience scaling B2B sales, particularly within the solar industry.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute the sales strategy

* Lead from the front, securing new business initially as you create the pipeline to sustain a sales team.

* Build and manage the sales team and commercial infrastructure

* Establish key customer and channel partnerships

* Collaborate cross-functionally to align sales with product delivery

* Represent the company in high-level engagements and industry forums

Candidate Profile:

We are keen to engage with experienced sales leaders who possess:

* 5+ years of B2B sales leadership experience, ideally in Solar or Renewables.

* Extensive solar industry expertise (5+ years), with a proven track record in selling solar modules or cells to businesses

* Experience across Commercial sales

* Strong technical knowledge

* A proven ability to build and scale sales functions in early-stage or growth-phase businesses

* Fluency in English

* Based in the UK and able to travel frequently to Office in Newcastle and client sites across the UK.
