About the Business

Main Duties:

As a Finance Manager, your main duties include:

• Be a commercial finance lead to a number of business units
• Business partner a range of stakeholders including finance and non finance staff
• Production of monthly management reporting across the business unit, with support from junior staff
• Oversee the preparation of business data and the delivery of advice to key customers and stakeholders, enabling effective performance monitoring and supporting informed decision-making, business planning, and sound financial management.
• Establish and maintain accurate, comprehensive financial records, control frameworks, and policies to meet all statutory and regulatory obligations, ensuring the efficient management of associated processes.
• Support the oversight, development, implementation, and evaluation of systems to maintain a strong control environment that safeguards the organisation’s assets and interests.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders, proactively addressing and resolving issues or gaps to uphold high standards of customer service.
• Lead the recruitment, performance management, and professional development of skilled staff, fostering high-performing teams capable of meeting business objectives and individual responsibilities.
• Participate, where relevant, in special projects and change initiatives that advance the Group’s strategic goals.

Location / Office / Culture

This role is based in their modern offices in Worcester with a hybrid split with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. This may have some room for flexibility.

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
• Experience within a similar role
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise
